Buyer can add alcohol of their choice such as brandy, or a dark liquor in the amount of 15-20% of the total volume of syrup to extend shelf life. 
If alcohol is added at buyers discretion use caution and do not give to children.

Tincture- 1 oz bottle: 
Tincture Directions: 1-5 drops as needed. Contains alcohol. Not for children. Purchase means you’re 21 or older. Store away from light. 
Syrup Directions: Refrigerate after opening. If alcohol is added, store with a tight lid in a dark cabinet away from sunlight. 
Adults can take 1 tsp every 2-4 hours to help soothe cough or sore throat.
Children- 2 yrs and older can take 1/4-1/2 tsp every 2-4 hrs to help soothe cough or sore throat.
